Steuben County Council to Hold Special Session on MUST Taskforce Provisions

ANGOLA, Ind. (WLKI) - The Steuben County Council will hold a special session Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. to discuss provisions of the Municipal Unit Strategic Taskforce, known as MUST, established under House Enrolled Act 1210.


The meeting will take place in the Commissioners South Meeting Room at 317 S. Wayne St. in Angola.


The primary focus of the session will be the formation and operation of the MUST taskforce and how the provisions outlined in House Enrolled Act 1210 will be implemented at the local level.


The special meeting will give county officials an opportunity to discuss the structure and responsibilities of the taskforce, as well as the process for moving forward with its formation.


Other elected officials and fiscal officers may participate in the discussion, including members of the Steuben County Board of Commissioners.


The special session is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. at the Commissioners South Meeting Room in the county government offices.
