(QUINCY) - The annual "Welcome Back to the Lake" celebration returns to Tip-Up Island on Saturday, bringing residents and seasonal visitors together for an unofficial start to summer.
The event is sponsored by the Quincy Chamber of Commerce, the Quincy Historical Society, and the Marble Chain of Lakes Improvement Association.
Activities are scheduled from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Organizers say attendees can expect opportunities to reconnect with neighbors, network, and learn more about the history of the Marble Chain of Lakes.
Organizers say the Quincy Historical Society will share information about the chain of lakes, which stretches more than 17 miles.
Prize drawings are also planned throughout the afternoon, including a Yeti cooler giveaway.
