(DEKALB COUNTY) - A Columbia City man was killed in a crash on Interstate 69.
Indiana State Police say troopers responded around 9:30 a.m. Monday to the area of the 325-mile marker to investigate a single-vehicle crash.
Police say a 2010 Ford E-350 cargo van was traveling northbound when it left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree.
The driver, 30-year-old Connor Sheets of Columbia City, was the sole occupant and was pronounced dead.
Indiana State Police were assisted at the scene by the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, Auburn Fire Department, Garrett Fire Department, Parkview EMS, and the DeKalb County Coroner's Office.
