(AUBURN) - Auburn will embrace winter with ice, art and basketball-themed fun when Winter Fest returns to the James Cultural Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14.

Presented by Auburn Main Street, the free, family-friendly event will feature live ice sculpture demonstrations, finished ice displays, music, food and interactive activities spread across downtown.

Renowned ice sculptor Shannon Gerasimchik, who has appeared on The Food Network, will begin live demonstrations at 11 a.m., carving original works on site throughout the day.

The Auburn Atrium Marketplace Dilgard Room will host the 2026 Final Four Fan Jam, a mobile, basketball-themed experience tied to the NCAA Men's Final Four, Division II, Division III and NIT championships, all set for Indianapolis later this year. The Fan Jam includes interactive hoops, a portable court, a vertical jump challenge, an activity wheel and the 2026 Men's Final Four trophy, with prizes available for participants.

Live music by Meleena Felger and hot chocolate provided by Youth for Christ DeKalb County will take place inside the Atrium Marketplace on 6th Street, which will also host an indoor vendor market.

Winter Fest is open to the public and free to attend. Event details are subject to change based on weather.
