(SHIPSHEWANA) - The town marshal of Shipshewana, Carlos Jasso, has been suspended since August and is currently the focus of an Indiana State Police investigation being led by a special prosecutor. No further details have been released about why Jasso was placed on leave. Shipshewana's Town Council says it will review the findings of the investigation and decide Jasso's future employment in executive session before making any public statements. Shipshewana Town Council meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 6pm at the Shipshewana Town Hall and can be viewed via livestream on Youtube.
