(JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP) – A Cassopolis man was injured while driving to work Tuesday morning.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department was called to M-60 and Daily Road in Jefferson Township just after 6 AM Tuesday. Deputies say 58 year old John Bright was driving south on M-60 when an unknown vehicle came into his lane, forcing Bright to take evasive action.
Bright went off the road and his vehicle overturned.
The Cassopolis Fire Department arrived on the scene and removed Bright from his vehicle and took him to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital for evaluation of his injuries.
Deputies say Bright was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident, which remains under investigation.
