(STURGIS) - A one of a kind vehicle made a return to where it was created.

The Floyd's 99 Barbershop Barberbus was in downtown Sturgis on Monday at the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce. The bus, which is a motorized barbershop, was built in Sturgis by Juff Kuhl and his staff at Michiana Millworks.

Paul O'Brien of Floyd's 99 Barbershop says the company got started 13 years ago. It was just a few years ago they came up with the idea of a mobile barbershop.

O'Brien explains what the vehicle was like when they brought it to Sturgis. ...... {LISTEN}.

O'Brien says they want to have two more of these vehicles built by Kuhl and his staff in the next few years.

Floyd's 99 Barbershops have locations in 12 states, including Michigan. However, O'Brien says the Barberbus is a special way for him and his staff to give back to the public. ...... {LISTEN}.

Prior to being in Sturgis, O'Brien and his staff from his Chicago store were in Detroit and Grand Rapids at the Ronald McDonald House for a fundraising event.

Kuhl says he and his team are anxious to get to work on the next two barberbuses and get them on the road.

The Chamber and the Salvation Army worked together to get people to come down for haircuts. In addition, barbeque pork sandwiches were provided for the public by Wink's BBQ and Catering.
