(UNDATED) - With summer winding down, gas prices have dropped in recent weeks. The web site www.indianagasprices.com says the average price for gas in Indiana is $3.41 which is down nine cents from last week. It's also three cents below the national average.
Prices in Angola are as low as $3.34 a gallon. As for other locations around northeast Indiana, gas is selling for as low as $3.35 in Fremont, $3.36 in Kendallville, $3.37 in Auburn, $3.33 in Fort Wayne and $3.46 in LaGrange.
The lowest price for gas in the state is $2.77 at a station in Crawfordsville. The highest is $3.99 at stations in Scottsburg and Valparaiso.
