Constantine Business Owner Facing CSC Charges

(CONSTANTINE) – A Constantine business owner is facing multiple charges of criminal sexual conduct.
According to St. Joseph County District Court officials 24 year old Tarsem Chand is charged with three counts of fourth degree CSC and two counts of indecent exposure.
Chand is the owner and manager of the Phillips 66 gas station in Constantine. It's alleged that the slapped the buttocks of three women and on two other occasions, exposed himself to two other women.
The alleged victims told investigating officers they were alone when they were sexually assaulted by Chand.
This is not the first time charges of this nature were brought against Chand. In 2008 he was accused of exposing himself to a customer and was later convicted of indecent exposure.
Chand is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Thursday. He is currently free on bond.
