Noble County Courthouse • Albion, IN

By: Tim Murray

ALBION – One of two Fort Wayne brothers pleaded guilty yesterday to a charge of removing the body of a slain woman from the scene of the crime.

Noble Circuit Court Judge David Laur sentenced Victor Gonzalez two three years in prison for the D-felony and dismissed a C-felony count of assisting a criminal.

Gonzalez received credit for 128 days already spent in jail.

He admitted to helping his brother, Andres Gonzalez, drop the body of Erin Justin into Bartley Lake near Albion in 2011.

Andres Gonzalez is awaiting trial for Justin's murder after the Noble County Prosecutor appealed a judge's ruling that the trial should be moved to Allen County.

Victor says his brother told him he picked up Justin and attacked and choked her.
