(DOWAGIAC) – Authorities are continuing to search for a Dowagiac woman who was last seen Thursday evening, and they're asking for the public's help.
Dowagiac Police officials say family and friends of 25 year old Rose Morris last saw her last Thursday around 7 PM when she left her home in the 300 block of East Division Street. Investigators determined that Morris met some friends and went to a house in Dowagiac and had been there for most of the night.
Family contacted police Sunday when Morris did not return home.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department did a K-9 track which led deputies to areas known to be visited by Morris on a regular basis. However, no new information was developed as a result of this track.
Police officials say at this time they don't suspect foul play, but they are continuing to interview family and friends to gather more information. Morris does not have any credit cards or a cell phone that authorities can track.
She has been entered into the statewide computer system as a voluntary missing person.
Morris is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. She has brown hair that is usually worn up and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue shorts and a tank top, possibly yellow or pink. She is the mother of two small boys.
Anyone who may have information on Morris' location is asked to call the Dowagiac Police Department at 269-782-9743 or the Cass County Tip Line at 1-800-462-9328.
