An alleged incident last December led to the arrest of a Coldwater man. The Coldwater Police Department says they arrested 30 year old Gary McLaughlin Saturday on a charge of second degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. An arrest warrant was issued for McLaughlin on May 7, following an investigation.

Police say the alleged incident happened on December 30, 2018 and involved a 14 year old boy. McLaughlin was able to post a $50,000 bond. He will be arraigned June 10 in Branch County District Court.
