The tri-state area officially has a new place for visitors to come to when they visit the region this summer. The new Wingate by Wyndham Hotel had its "Grand Opening" Ribbon Cutting ceremony at Noon on Tuesday at the location just off I-69 and U.S. 20 in Angola. Media members and various local dignitaries were on hand to witness the ceremony, lead by project design leader Ken Wilson, President of Jim Ingledue Construction (JICI).
Wilson discussed just how big the project was for the area, and for what stands out about the project the most, which included the new design and the overall cleanliness of the hotel.
The new 99 room complex features the new design all Wyndham hotels will feature in the future. The celebration was short however, as the hotels first guests checked-in at 3 P.M.
