Williams County prosecutors announced that they have closed the investigation involving a sex offense by Father Nelson Beaver over 25 years ago. The incident occurred at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montpelier where the investigation was closed at the request of the alleged victim who is now an adult. Beaver was a priest of the Diocese of Toledo was was placed on administrative leave back in October as a result of the allegations.
