Man Charged with Assaulting Officer Faces the Court

An Ohio man has been arraigned in a Steuben County courtroom on multiple charges, including assaulting a Police Office. Court reports say that the a case against 49 year old Dustin Gamble of Payne, Ohio alleges he punched a Hamilton Police officer in October 2018.

The Hamilton Police Officer was responding to a report of a trespassing incident. When Gamble was discovered by the officer, he allegedly struck the officer in the face.

Gamble is charged with a level 4 felony charge of escape, which could put him prison for up to a 12 years. In addition, he faces felony counts of battery to law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
