This weekend's forecast is calling for snow and in regards to an abundance of accumulation, local officials have several reminders.

When snow fall is heavy, please make sure your trash and recycling cans are pulled back to your house and not still sitting at your curb during evening hours.

It is essential to keep your vehicles off the street whenever possible. This will allow plow trucks enough room to get the snow cleared properly.

In addition to keeping your own sidewalks cleared, also consider helping your elderly neighbors to keep their walks cleared off.

Do not blow or shovel your snow into the street or in the roadway.
