Kruse Museum Sells to Investors

An investment group has purchased the Kruse Museum & Expo Center from the Dean V. Kruse Foundation.

The group includes former U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman and entrepreneurs John Kruse and Jason Bontrager. Kruse is a of Dean Kruse, and Bontrager is a former managing partner of Jayco, Inc.

The price of the transaction was not disclosed.

Dean Kruse had built the facility and opened it to the public in 2002 as a World War II museum and automotive museum. The facility houses many things, including several famous cars from Hollywood such as the Batmobile complete with a theatrical set, The Dukes of Hazzard’s General Lee, KITT from Knight Rider and many other famous cars (www.krusemuseums.org).

Specific plans for the property by the new owners will reportedly be announced in the future.
