MSD Of Steuben County Receives A Cut Of The 10 Million In Grant Money From The IDOE

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Indiana Department of Education has awarded 58 schools across Indiana with $10 million dollars in Employability Skills Innovation and Implementation Grant funding.

The funds are aimed to help students develop in-demand employability skills that prepare them to meet the needs of the current workforce.

Among the recipients in Northeast Indiana was the MSD of Steuben County. The district was awarded $152,600.

Whitley County Consolidated Schools was awarded $200,000.

As part of the application process Schools had to outline how they plan to utilize the funds to help students be proficient in Indiana Employability Skills.
