Jobs Numbers Improve For November In Williams County

The counties in Northwest Ohio, including Williams County, saw unemployment rates drop from October to November.

In Williams County, unemployment stood at 3.2 percent in November, down slightly from 3.4 percent in October, September and August.

The county’s rate remains one of the lowest in the state and is the lowest in the four-county area by 0.5 percent. An estimated 18,300 of Williams County’s 18,900-person work force were employed in November 2019.

Meanwhile in Defiance County, unemployment stood at 4.1 percent for the month of November.
