The MSD School Board heard from several Hendry Park faculty members on Tuesday evening.

The board heard reports from various clubs including, cheer, dance, coding, steam, and baking club. The clubs are allowing students to learn in various languages, develop real world experiences and skills for their futures, spark creativity, exercise, and have fun. They also heard about how anxiety and stress affect children in the school settings and learned tools for how to control and deal with anxiety and stress and how to feel accepted, cared for, calm and regulated.

Patrons at the meeting which included many MSD staffers wore red in support of the “Red for Ed” rally at the state house in Indy where over half the districts in the state closed their doors, MSD was not one of them.
