The Angola Marching Hornets have advanced to the Indiana State School of Music Association's Regional marching band competition.

Despite the wind and other elements on Saturday, the Angola band received a gold rating at the ISSMA contest held at Homestead High School. In addition, they received a “With Distinction” marking in ALL captions, which included categories of Music, Visual, and Effect.
