Tuesday Crash In LaGrange Sends Five To Hospital
Thursday, October 3, 2019

Police believe alcohol and speed were factors in a Tuesday evening crash that sent five people to hospitals.

The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office says a pickup driven by 38-year-old David Stanley of Lagrange crossed the center line on 100 South near 8995 East. It collided with a Ford Escape going the opposite direction, causing it to
leave the road and strike a tree.

Stanley suffered several broken ribs and a broken nose. He was treated at Parkview Lagrange Hospital.

33-year-old Kristine Klophfenstein of South Milford was driving the Escape. She suffered minor injuries along with 35-year-old Trent Klophfenstein and two teenage girls, one of whom suffered a broken collarbone. They were all treated at Parkview Noble Hospital.
