It was announced on Wednesday morning that Democratic State Senator Karen Tallian has begun her campaign to seek election in the office for Indiana Attorney General.
Tallian has served in the State Senate since 2005 and hopes the citizens of Indiana will look at her resume come election time. Priding herself on writing laws that made it harder for banks to foreclose on homeowners, and a champion of defending civil rights she also hopes to revise the state's criminal code and bring it up to modern standard, citing she wants to see that "punishment fits the crime," while also advocating for citizens of the Hoosier State.
The next election for the Indiana Attorney General will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd of 2020.
