Solar Farm Now Open In DeKalb County

Dignitaries were part of a ribbon cutting ceremony on the LaOtto Solar Generating Station, located on State Road 3 in DeKalb County.

Construction on the project began last December. The new facility started making electricity back in April, as officials say the field can generate enough energy to power about 125 homes.
