Angola Area Chamber Of Commerce's Jessica Bird joins WLKI's Andy St. John to preview The Annual Corporate Toboggan Speed Challenge.

It will take place on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, at Pokagon State Park from 5 - 8 pm.

The 2023 Corporate Toboggan Speed Challenge is back in full force. This event pits teams of four racers against each other in contests of speed, enthusiasm, and downhill determination on the area’s only refrigerated toboggan track. Who is up for the challenge? The theme is Christmas in Hawaii with live music by Island Vibe, and a tailgating party that will continue after the last run.

This is a fundraiser for the Angola Area Chamber of Commerce, that will pit teams of four racers against each other in contests of speed, enthusiasm, and downhill determination on the area’s only refrigerated Toboggan track.

The winners will be announced after the last survivors are hauled back! Tailgating is encouraged! Bring food and refreshments to share. Pizza and wings will be available in the Tailgating Village in the parking lot.

This is a chance to capture the coveted bragging rights for your business of Fastest Sled or Best Costume (bonus points to teams who are dressed in Themed Costumes) while showing off your mad sledding skills, having fun, bolstering camaraderie, and raising funds to support the mission of the Angola Area Chamber of Commerce in continuing to offer valuable programs and services to our members. This event is made possible by the help and partnership with Pokagon State Park.
